CAB-O-SIL® fumed silica can convert many liquids into free-flowing powders for ease of handling and blending into dry formulations. The levels of fumed silica required for this function cover a wide range, depending on the polarity and hydrogen-bonding ability of the liquids involved. Effective concentrations are usually from 10-40% by weight of the fumed silica.
