Cabot's CAB-O-SIL® specialty additives for toner leverage our unique, proprietary technology to create products for toners that provide free-flow, anti-blocking, spacing, and tribocharging.  The CAB-O-SIL products include:

  • Tightly controlled particle size fumed silicas for optimum free-flow
  • Spherical colloidal silicas for spacing and anti-blocking
  • Positive charging fumed and colloidal silicas for positive charging toners
  • Strongly negative charging fumed and colloidal silicas for negative charging toners

Cabot is developing specialty additives for toners to meet the performance challenges presented by increasingly smaller toner particle size, faster printing speed, and low Tg polymers. Our new, innovative CAB-O-SIL® TG-C series of colloidal silicas help toner formulators meet these challenges.
