Abstract:

CAB-O-SIL TS-622 treated fumed silica is perfect for use as a reinforcing filler for RTV-1 silicone sealants. 

This product delivers wide functionality, including:

  • Compatibility with silicone polymer for faster wet-in or incorporation, better dispersio, good sealant surface smoothness and appearance.
  • Low adsorbed moisture for longer sealant shelf-life and reduced cross-linker requirements.
  • Higher silica surface area for good reinforcement at lower silica loading and increased transparency of clear sealants.
