Abstract:
CAB-O-SIL® 1111G is a fluidizing additive specifically designed for powder coatings applications and other powders requiring enhanced free flow and fluidization performance. This is a high-purity silica that has been treated with hexamethyldisilazane. The treatment replaces many of the surface hydroxyl groups on the fumed silica with trimethylsilyl groups, rendering the silica very hydrophobic.
