We take pride in designing particles for specific applications in a variety of industries. For example, we have discovered how to design a pigment so that it delivers excellent dispersion, optical density and durability in an inkjet printing ink. We also design carbon blacks that offer the correct balance of wear and grip for safe, high-performance car tires.

Our success comes from exploiting our expertise in functional materials properties such as mechanical, optical, rheological and electrical properties. We control these properties by designing particle composition, morphology and surface chemistry, dispersion or formulation into a matrix, and finally how these lead to composite materials properties through particle media interactions. To enable these we exploit our expertise in process development, particularly for processes used to produce fine particles and modify their surfaces.
