Process aid masterbatch is specially designed to improve the processability of LLDPE rich materials, MDPE & HDPE. It works by coating the internal surface of the extrusion line and die and thereby reduces the friction between the polymer and the metal.

This leads to the following benefits:

• reduced or eliminated melt fracture;
• improved surface quality, clarity and gloss;
• reduced extruder head pressure which often allows higher output rates and/or reduces power consumption.

It can also be used to reduce die build up by preventing the adhesion of oxidized material, waxes, etc. on the metal surface. Typical applications are film, sheet and pipe extrusion as well as blow moulding.
