Abstract:

This presentation compares the effect of carbon black morphology on dispersion
in EPDM rubber. STERLING® 6630 and 5630 carbon black are compared against
SPHERON® 5000A carbon black at equal hardness loadings.

Also measured are the effects of the different carbon black morphologies on
standard rubber compound properties like viscosity, tensile strength, and more.
