Carbon Black
Cabot is the world's leading manufacturer of carbon black, offering more than 300 grades for use in tires, industrial rubber products, elastomer composites, masterbatch and specialty products, such as coatings and toners.
Supermetals
Cabot Supermetals is the world's largest and most technologically advanced manufacturer of tantalum and niobium products, which are used primarily by the electronics industry in producing capacitors.
Silicas and Aluminas
With a 30% global market share, Cabot's silicas and aluminas are a critical ingredient for building, automotive and electronics products, where we offer a wide array of specialty and treated grades.
Specialty Fluids
Cabot Specialty Fluids serves customers in the oil and gas industries with cesium formate-based drilling and completion fluids that outperform conventional fluids. This business also sells spodumene and cesium fine chemicals.
Nanogel
One of Cabot's newest businesses, Nanogel® aerogel is gaining a reputation in the construction, transportation, apparel and oil drilling industries as a global provider of aerogel-based system solutions.
Inkjet Colorants
Using patented processes for the surface treatment of particles, Inkjet Colorants manufactures pigment-based colorants for the inkjet printing market, including home/small office and commercial printing applications.
Superior MicroPowders
Cabot Superior MicroPowders uses patented spray-based manufacturing processes to produce performance powders and downstream products for: Printable Electronics and Displays (PEDs), Fuel Cells and Platform Development.
